Newsletter vol. 11

Issue No 11

Dear Reader,

if you are a long-time follower of the TOOP Project you know that this newsletter will be the last (but not least) newsletter during the project time of TOOP. Over four years of hard work are behind us and we are very proud of what we have achieved and what usable results we are able to handover to the European Commission. But more is to come. We will keep up with working on TOOP legacy. For this reason we have founded the non-profit international association ONCE-ONLY.ORG (AISBL) with the goal to sustain the results of the project in the best possible way. Read more about out Sustainability plans in this newsletter.

If you want to follow up on the progress in the Once-Only Principle on European level then follow our colleagues from CEF and SDG-OOP Group on their social media channels or subscribe to their newsletter. Keep updated!

Stay safe and healthy!

Prof. Dr. Dr. Robert Krimmer

TOOP Project Coordinator

TOOP makes the cross border once-only principle a reality in Europe

TOOP succeeded in creating a reference architecture supporting the organisational, semantic and technical interoperability of national e-gov systems across state borders. This solution was implemented and tested by TOOP partners within different pilot domains.

CEF is progressing on the SDG Once Only Technical System

CEF is working on the technical specifications of the Once Only Technical System. The TOOP technical architecture and components are taken by CEF and applied to the implementation of the Single Digital Gateway.

TOOP long-term sustainability

One of the main tasks of the TOOP project is to ensure the take-up of TOOP results and achieve their long-term sustainability. The TOOP General Assembly has endorsed ONCE-ONLY.ORG AISBL as the organisation for sustainability of technical artefacts produced as result of the TOOP project.
