TOOP presented at ICEGOV 2018

On 5th April 2018, TOOP was presented at 11th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV 2018), that took place in Galway, Ireland and was hosted by National University of Galway. 

The conference was established by United Nations University in 2007 with the aim of bringing together practitioners, developers and researchers from government, academia and non-governmental organizations to share the latest trends in Electronic Governance.

TOOP contribution to this event was made by Tarmo Kalvet and Marja Toots, who presented the research paper “Cross-border e-Government Services in Europe: Expected Benefits, Barriers and Drivers of the Once-Only Principle”. The document was authored by Tarmo Kalvet, Maarja Toots, Anne Fleur van Veenstra and Robert Krimmer. The goal of this presentation was to promote the initial results and next steps of TOOP to e-government research and practitioner community.

According to the experience so far, international interest in TOOP is very high not only in Europe but also among experts from Asia, Latin America, Africa.
